Obituary for Walter Lynn Hudson
Walter Lynn Hudson, a retired Army First Sergeant and resident of Big Timber, Montana, died unexpectedly on February 26, 2018 at the age of 76.

Walter “Lynn” was born in San Luis Obispo, CA on July 18, 1941 to Charles and Lorraine Hudson. He entered the military in 1966, serving two tours in Vietnam, Purple Heart recipient. He retired in 1987. He entered into marriage with Paula Lehmkuhl on November 20, 1969. During his 21-years of military service, both Walter and Paula were assigned to foreign and state-side assignments. Walter attended college at El Paso Community College earning an associate degree in business.

Walter enjoyed bowling, golf, and the great outdoors. In his earlier adult years, he enjoyed going on horseback rides with his father driving cattle and camping in some of the most beautiful parts of the United States. He loved traveling with his family around the globe and playing golf while traveling.

Walter was preceded in death by his mother Lorraine Hudson, father Charles Hudson, brother and sister.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Hudson (Lehmkuhl); his children, Jeffery Hudson-Covolo (Stephen Covolo), Kimberly Johnson (Doug), Scott Hudson (Diana), Charles Hudson (Tina); Jay Hudson (Vladamir), James Hudson (Billie), Dwayne Hudson, and Lance Hudson (Michelle). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date.
