Obituary for BERNICE MOOR
Bernice Moor, 81, of Big Timber passed away on Friday July 4, 2014 due to complications from a stroke. Bernice was born February 8, 1933 in Columbus to Loyd and Helen (Baker) Bothman. She married Virgil Thompson in 1951 and had two children, Joyce and Billy. They divorced in 1954. She married Garry Moor in 1976. Bernice worked as a bookkeeper at Bieber Feed and Grain Elevators for six years, as a medical assistant for Dr. Standish and Dr. Ivey for eleven years and as the Project Director for the Big Timber Senior Citizens Center for sixteen years. She was an active member of the Red Hat Society, Willit Grow Garden Club and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with friends at the Senior Center visiting and playing cards. She especially enjoyed the jam sessions. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and she loved collecting many things. She also loved camping, fishing, collecting rocks, reading books, putting puzzles together, and watching mystery and game shows. She was preceded in death by her husband Garry Moor and parents Loyd and Helen Bothman. She is survived by her children; Joyce (Mack) Ross of Sheridan, WY, Billy (Janene) Thompson of Mayhill, NM, step-children; Stony Esp, Wade Moor, Dane Moor, Ray Moor, Linda Thompson, Wendy Moor, brothers; Byron (Phyllis) Bothman of Billings, Bill Bothman of Hobbs, NM; Barton Bothman of Big Timber; 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild on the way; as well as many nieces and nephews.
