Obituary for Carol Ann Lannen
Carol Ann Lannen went to meet our Lord and Savior on June 21, 2022. Surrounded by her family at the Beartooth Manor in Columbus Montana.
Carol was born in Livingston MT on September 25th 1945 to Harry and Mary Livingston. She spent her youth in Livingston and attend Park High school. She then went on to attend Eastern Montana College in Billings. She spent her summers working in Yellowstone National Park. She met the love her life Mike Lannen the summer of 1967, while he was working on the Family ranch east of Clyde Park. They were married August 23, 1968. They moved to Big Timber a few months after they were married where Carol worked at Gust department store. After a couple of years, they moved to Livingston Montana where they began their family. In 1977 they moved to their new house in Clyde Park with the two boys Shawn and Jamie. She enjoyed painting, reading, taking trips to the mountain, and taking walks in the evenings with Mike and boys. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. While in Clyde Park she was a substitute teacher and was very active in the Women’s Club and the Blackbird booster club. After Jamie Graduated high school they moved to Park City, where her and Mike resided until her passing.
Carol is survived by her husband Mike who lives in their home in Park City. Shawn and Jeni, and their children Brannin, Reilly, Rory and Kathryn of Big Timber. Jamie and Katrina; and their children Zane, Reace, and Kade of Clyde Park.
A memorial service will 10:30 am Saturday, July 2nd at the Shields Valley Bible Church in Clyde Park, with a reception to follow at the Clyde Park Community Center.
