Obituary for Charles Allen Rasnick
Charles Allen Rasnick, 73, of Big Timber, Montana passed away November 15th, 2020 at Billings Clinic in Billings, Montana
Charles was born to Charles Amos Rasnick of McLeod, Montana & Maxine Belle Gillespie of Indio, California. His family called him “Skip” and here in Big Timber he was known as Chuck.
He was the oldest of 9 siblings. He joined the Navy when he was 17 and quickly learned the life of service and adventure was one he loved. At age 20 he met Alice Marie Scileppi to whom he was married 51 years. On May 29th 1970 they had their daughter, Charlene Marie, and exactly four years later to the day had their son, Charles Andrew.
Their 24-year adventure as a military family took them coast-to-coast and after retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer 3, Skip moved his family to Big Timber, Montana. He started his HVAC business and enjoyed helping everyone in the community.
Skip is survived by his wife Alice, daughter Charlene (Kevin) and son Chuck (Stacey) five grandchildren, Angie (Jeremy) Roberts, Charlie & Fiancée Madi, Sam, Lizzie, & Rocco Rasnick. Five siblings, Dennis (Mary) Rasnick, Rick (Debbi) Reynolds, Brenda Warren, Debi (Jeff) Simpson, Bruce (Maritza) Rasnick, sister-in-law Kathy Scileppi and brother-in-law Frank (Melody) Scileppi, several cousins, nieces & nephews, and many other people that considered him family. He is preceded in death by his parents and three siblings.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 21st at Mountain View Cemetery.
