Obituary for Connie Lin Kunda
Connie Lin Kunda, 46, left to join her dad and mother-in-law in heaven on September 19th after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Connie's life revolved around her son, husband, family and amazing circle of friends. Connie's continual positive attitude was contagious to all who knew her. Connie was born to Adrian and Fran Elgen on July 12, 1969. She joined Darrel and Barb at home. Connie enjoyed ranch life with her family raising sheep, tinkering in the mechanic shop with her dad and riding Tammy over the hills. Connie married the love of her life, Kevin Kunda, on July 22, 1989. Kevin and Connie created a life together enjoying the outdoors whether they were hiking, camping, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling or touring the countryside. They loved and thoroughly enjoyed being together in the great outdoors. Kevin and Connie have numerous stories about how the great outdoors tried to outwit them from being stuck, to being snowed in, to sliding down hills backwards...... there was always a great story that would create laughter for years to come. On February 18, 1997, they welcomed the greatest joy of their life, Kalvin. Soon their life would revolve around Kalvin's every accomplished milestone, whether it was his first word, his first step, his first tackle, his first pitch, his first date or his acceptance into college. Connie was an inspiration to all who knew her. She encouraged all to be the best they could be and to never give up. Her cheerleaders became her extended family. Connie is survived by her husband Kevin, son Kalvin her mother Fran Elgen, father-in-law Ray Kunda, brother Darrel (Arlene) Elgen, sister Barb (Ron) Swanson and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and amazing friends. Connie was preceded in death by her father Adrian and her mother-in-law Liz.
