Obituary for Constance Arlene 'Connie' Mill

Constance (Connie) Arlene Mill born February 20, 1943, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, listening to her favorite old time country music, on Saturday, August 24, 2024.

Connie spent her childhood years growing up in Dean, MT. In 1959 she met and married the love of her life Richard Mill, and this November 9th, they would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Connie treasured the last 50 years living in the Absarokee/Columbus area sharing many happy memories with her large extended family. Connie was the oldest of 36 cousins. She always welcomed everyone into her home, offering a meal, and was always ready for a game of cards.

Connie loved to cook and would plan all events around her kitchen table. She loved flowers, old time country music, and all the dogs they had through the years. Connie was a great storyteller and loved telling stories of the family. At times she may have embellished a bit, but always in a wonderful way!

Connie was thrilled to go to Nashville's Grand Ole Opry with her daughters for her 60th birthday. Cooking was Connie's specialty, and she enjoyed hosting large family gatherings. Christmas was her favorite time of year, with all her family home, everyone looking forward to the special meals that she would prepare.

Connie was loved dearly by all who knew her. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Connie is survived by her husband Rich; and their 5 children: Arlene (Dan) Bummer, Dan (Sheryl) Mill, Brenda (John) Bush, Donny (Cori) Mill, and Jorge (Amy) Mill. She adored her 11 grandchildren: Jake, Casey, Corey, Ethan, Josh, LaToya, Nick, Morgan, Dalton, Lucas and Evie; 4 great grandchildren: Reece, Bailey, Jackson and Mav. Also, brothers: Kenny (Gay) Kissler, Richard (Cindy) Kissler, Les (Angie) Kissler. Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Carl Kissler and Maybelle Jensen Kissler and sister, Marge Clayton.

We love you mom and will miss you dearly. You will forever be in our hearts.
