Dustin Lee Ross was born on February 21st, 1987 in Big Timber, Montana to parents Cheryl and stepdad Casey Meadows. Dustin graduated from Sweet Grass County High School in 2005. Became a proud father to Lily in 2008 and again to his son little Casey in 2011. He excitedly became a husband to the love of his life, Amanda through the hands of his good friend Miguel on April 14 2019. Sadly, Dustin left us all on December 20th, 2022 at the young age of 35.
Some of Dustin's favorite activities included cooking, shooting, camping, driving the back roads, listening to loud music, fast cars and loud pipes and above all else spending time with his loved ones. One of his favorite pastimes was the yearly family gatherings in Pony, MT.
He was beloved by everyone who met him: A loving father, husband, and a best friend to all walks of life. No matter the circumstance, anyone that's spent any amount of time with Dustin has a story of something funny or just crazy off the wall thing that Dustin did while they were with him. On top of those stories everyone has a memory or story that showcases how large his heart was. He had an infectious smile and a hug that could melt away any of your problems in that moment. Dustin was the type of man that would give you the shirt off his back to help anyone he called friend or family. He had such a big heart that it would pain him to know that someone he loved was hurting and go to all extremes to help them.
He leaves a huge irreplaceable hole in the hearts of his family and friends who were always entertained by his stories and hilarious sense of humor. He truly brought the life to the party. He was such a light in this sometimes dark world and will never be forgotten but will forever be remembered and deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
Dustin was predeceased by his grandparents, Donna, Dave, Ladonna, Betty, and his Aunt Sandra. He is survived by his children Lily and Casey Ross, wife (separated) Amanda Ross, parents Cheryl and Casey Meadows, sisters Lacy, Krista, and Shasta, brothers Rambo, Drake, and Derek, and Michael, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles, his beloved dog Leyla, and countless friends that doubled as family to him.
Memorial services will be held at the American Legion in Big Timber, MT on Thursday, December 29th at 2:00 p.m.
