Obituary for Emery Arden Zimdars
Emery Arden Zimdars, 67, of Big Timber passed away April 2, 2022 at Billings Clinic.
Emery was born May 24, 1954 to Julius ‘Jupe’ and Ardus Zimdars in Sidney, Montana.
The family moved to Big Timber in the spring of 1958, and Emery attended a country grade school and graduated from Sweet Grass County High School.
Emery worked on several ranches worked in the oil fields and also worked in the gold mines in Nevada until 1995. He moved back to Big Timber in 2001.
Emery was a loving brother, father and grandfather. He is survived by his three daughters; Shawna (David) Knudsen, Stacy Maki and Amy (Cody) Waller, 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Jerry, Ed (Inez), Roger (Patti), Allen and his sisters Kay Faw, Karen Holcomb, Carol Olson and Radie (Clarence) Clayton and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Calvin and sister Joan.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday May 7 at the Sweet Grass County Fairgrounds in the Ag Pavilion. To leave condolences for the family, please visit www.stenbergfuneralhome.com
