Obituary for Fred Edward Polzin
It is with great sadness we announce the death of Fred Edward Polzin, of Big Timber, Montana. Fred passed away Wednesday October 14, 2020 at the age of 82.
Fred was born April 8, 1938 in Oneida, Wisconsin to Clarence and Blanche Polzin. Fred was the youngest of four children.
Fred graduated Freedom High School in 1956 and joined the United States Marine Corps shortly thereafter. Fred spent three years in the Marines, where he achieved the rank of Corporal, and was a member of the 4th Provisional Atomic Energy Brigade.
Fred married his high-school sweetheart Bonnie in October 1963, who preceded him in death in 2012. They had two children, Karen and Daniel. Fred spent the years after the Marines working as a carpenter for the heavy construction industry, and retired from the Carpenter’s Union in 2000.
Fred is survived by his three sisters Carole, Barbara, and Faye, and his two children.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
