Plant a tree in memory of GERALD R.

An environmentally friendly option
Gerald Roy ‘Chip’ Connolly was born on May 14, 1958 in Big Timber to Roy Boyce ‘Snooks’ and Frieda (Hauge) Connolly. Chip rode into Heaven after a long battle with cancer on April 24, 2016.

Chip grew up on the Cremer Ranch in Melville. The family spent their summers on the Sweet Grass on a place they called the Medley.

Chip had worked for Beans Tronrud and Bill Donald. He went to work for the Cremer Ranch in 1975 and worked there until December of 2015.

Chip married Linda Haworth on May 9, 1981. They started their family with Donald Roy in 1985, Cecil Ole in 1985, and Brandi Marie in 1991. Chip was a true cowboy and worked hard for everything he had. He loved his family dearly and would do anything he had to, to provide for his family. He was a selfless, independent man with the biggest heart. Chip was the kind of man that could make friends with anyone. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything that was outdoors. He would go elk hunting in Utica with his best friend Gerald Mack.

Chip is survived by his children; Donald of Harlowton, and Cecil and Brandi of Melville, Grand-daughter Alli Raeanna, Brothers; Jim (Christi) of Winnett, and Larry (Shonna) Shawmut, and his uncle Donald Hauge of Shawmut, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Chip was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Parents, Brother Cecil and Sister Della.
