Obituary for KATHLEEN ADELINE LINDNER
Kathleen Adeline Lindner, 93, of Big Timber passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the Pioneer Medical Center. Kathleen was born July 3, 1921 in Sweet Grass County, and married Robert W. Lindner on December 10, 1942 in Harlowton. They went home to the ranch in Gibson country where they raised their three daughters. She was a true ranch wife that enjoyed their Hereford cattle, cooking for the help and even doing the chores when necessary. Visitors were always welcome in her home. Kathleen's greatest joys included watching their race horses run and gardening, especially her rose garden. Her favorite hobbies were beading jewelry, crocheting and playing cards, especially the Saturday night pinochle games. Kathleen is survived by her husband, Robert, three sisters, Betty Monroe and Leona Flattum of Billings and Margaret Deegan of Big Timber, her daughters, Connie Lindner and Holly (Glenn) Berg of Big Timber and Sherry (Tracy) Tucker of Springdale, one grandson Cory Sell of Missoula. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Johnny Viets.
