Obituary for Kenneth Norman 'Kenny' O'Dell
Kenneth Norman O'Dell, 91, of Big Timber passed away Sunday March 30, 2014 at the Pioneer Medical Center. Kenny was born March 4, 1923 to Orange B. and Marion A. (Spratt) O'Dell in Big Timber, after graduating high school he joined the U.S. Army, serving in Europe until being discharged in 1945. In 1947 he married Betty Marvin and to them were born 7 children, 6 boys and 1 girl. In 1947 Kenny went to work for Mountain Bell, retiring in Big Timber in 1981. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Harold, Donald and Richard. He is survived by his wife Betty, his 7 children and lots of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and graveside services with Military Honors will be held 11am Saturday April 26, 2014 at Mountain View Cemetery. A luncheon and a time for sharing will follow at the American Legion Post #19.
