Luanne was born March 20, 1954. The only daughter of Louis and Ann Beeler in Havre, MT. She was raised on the family farm near Big Sandy, MT with her three older brothers Gary, Ron, and Wayne. She graduated from Big Sandy High School and went on to graduate from Billings Business College with an associate degree in accounting. Luanne always liked working with numbers and was never satisfied until she got the checkbook to balance to the penny.
Luanne met her future husband at a youth conference in Havre. Rick had come up from Billings with the youth group from his church and was placed in the same group as Luanne’s parents who were youth leaders at the time. Rick met Luanne for the first time when her folks took pity on him and invited him to lunch. Luanne and Rick got to spend quite a bit of time just talking in the car while her folks had some errands to run and a spark was struck.
Luanne and Rick had, what they lovingly called, an arranged marriage since it was her folks that introduced them. They were married on August 25, 1973, in Big Sandy at the tender age of 19. Rick always told her she robbed the cradle because he is 15 days younger than her.
Luanne worked at Equifax for two years before deciding to be a stay-at-home Mom with their first child, Brenna, in 1976. Their son Jeremy arrived in 1978.
Luanne and Rick moved from religion to relationship when they accepted Jesus as their Savior and Lord in September of 1979. Luanne loved Jesus and it showed in the ways she loved people. Always a giver of time and resources. She would look for opportunities to give to strangers. She would, at times, watch people in the checkout line at the grocery store and go up and ask if she could pay for their groceries.
Luanne passed into heaven on Nov. 11. She is preceded by her brother, Gary, father, Louis and daughter, Brenna. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, her son Jeremy and wife Erin, grandchildren Aiden, Jathan, Abbie, and Kayleigh.
