Obituary for Margaret Hauge
Margaret Elizabeth Krone Hauge was born April 11th, 1927 to Thorvald and Minnie Krone in Columbus Mt. She grew up on the family ranch south of Reed Point. She met Palmer Hauge at the Dot S Dot Guest Ranch where they were both employed and they were married on April 4th, 1947 in Reed Point. They made their home on the Hauge family ranch north of Big Timber and they had 3 children there. They moved into Big Timber in 1980. Palmer passed away in 1999. Margaret resided at the Pioneer Medical Center for the last 4 years until her death. Margaret enjoyed her yard and flowers and always kept a garden. She loved picnics and camping. She enjoyed a good game of rummy with her grandchildren and she liked to read. She liked to walk and she always looked forward to seeing the new lambs in the spring. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Betty Zeigler, and her daughter in law Gayle Hauge. She is survived by her brother Thorvald Krone, her three children Martin (Karen) Hauge, Larry Hauge and Beth Breakey, seven grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
