Obituary for Michael Lee Morrison
Michael Lee Morrison, 62, of Livingston passed away Sunday May 9, 2021 at Livingston HealthCare.
Mike was born in Billings, Montana, the son of Jim and Pat Morrison. He attended school in Laurel and following graduation he joined the U.S. Navy.
Mike served on the USS Archer Fish, which was a nuclear submarine as a Nuclear Engineering Laboratory Technician. He traveled all over the world and one of his lifes high lights was when they surfaced at the North Pole.
After 8 years in the Navy, he went to college and got his BA from Eastern Montana College, in Billings. He then transferred to Montana State University, in Bozeman where he got his PHD in Analytical Chemistry, graduating in 1995.
In October of 1994, he married Milee Bouchee and they had four children, AJ, Eve, Gabe and Tory.
He worked in the cement industry from 1995 to 2009 when they moved back to Livingston to be with family due to his disability from breast cancer.
Mike was active in Livingston Rotary until his health did not allow it anymore.
Mike was a loving husband and a good father and his children were the light of his life.
Mike is survived by his wife, children and one sister Joann. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and his brother Jimmy and sister Kate.
Cremation has taken place and an open house in his memory will be held from 2 to 4 pm, on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 910 West Summit Street, Livingston, Montana. We will celebrate his life with good stories about Mike and welcome his friends and family to bring their stories also.
His ashes will be scattered at a private service later this year.
