Nancy was born July 23, 1935 in Fresno, CA to Harry and Lucille (Hart) Arnold.
She was raised in the Los Angeles area and worked for Chevron Oil Field Research as a Word Processor.
She married Gale Messick and they had 3 children; Thomas, Terry and Linda. She later divorced and married Jimmie Anderson who was a co-worker at Chevron.
When Nancy and Jim retired from Chevron, they relocated to Big Timber.
Nancy enjoyed traveling the world, sewing, crosswords, trap and skeet shooting and spending time with her family.
Nancy is survived by her husband Jim, children; Thomas Messick of Canyon Country, CA, Terry Allen of Reno, NV and Linda (Gary) Sabins of Austin, TX, stepchildren; Kay Meyer and Jay Andersen of Big Timber, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 2 more on the way and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-father Thomas King.
Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date.
