Obituary for Robert Roland 'Bob' Flick
Robert Roland ‘Bob’ Flick, 93, of Big Timber passed away Wednesday February 6, 2019 at the Pioneer Medical Center in Big Timber.

Robert was born October 10, 1925 in San Diego, California, the oldest son of Ira and Verna (Van) Flick.

Bob enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1943. He was a right gunner on a B-29 with the 462nd Bomb Group in China, India and Guam during WWII.

After the war he returned to California and became a beekeeper (Bob Flick Apiaries) in Southern California and later in Big Timber. He was a master storyteller and loved hunting, gun shows and spending time on the ranch with his wife Roberta.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife of over 73 years, Roberta, and his brother Leo, he is survived by his son, Robert Jr. of Big Timber, daughter Rae Deane Murphy of Oakley, California, grandchildren Timothy (Amy) Murphy of W. Linn, Oregon, Brian (Anabel) Flick from Germany, Tiffany (David) Spencer of Laurel and Erin Franklin of Brentwood, CA, 7 grandchildren, and sister Pat Palmore of Findlay, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday February 22, 2019 at Stenberg Funeral Home with interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. To leave condolences for the family, please visit
