Obituary for William Casie Allen
William Casie Allen, of Reed Point, died unexpectedly on Sunday October 25th at the age of 28.
Casie is survived by his parents, his sister and her husband, Breanna and Dakota Shores, his nephews Aiden, Jack and Charlie, his grandparents, Bill and Carol Allen and his yellow lab Sago Mae along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jack and Darlene Martin, and uncles Gary and Bruce Martin.
Casie was born in Olathe, KS on August 2, 1992 to Barry and Robin Allen. He graduated from Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, KS. Casie spent his life doing jobs that in one form or another helped people. He volunteered at a nursing home, spent five years as a hunting and fishing guide, spent the past three years as a Sheriff’s Reserve Deputy for Sweet Grass County and worked alongside other first responders in Stillwater County and the Montana Highway Patrol. At the time of his passing he was working as a Towing Recovery Specialist for Hanser’s Automotive. His passion in life was helping people.
Casie was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt, fish, trap and camp. He loved all things outdoors, but he especially loved to waterfowl hunt, fly fish and archery hunt. He was a problem solver and loved doing things like putting things together. If there was an item that needed to be assembled, Casie was the “go to guy” for the job. He had a very adventurous spirit and loved doing new things. He loved to tell stories and to listen to stories, especially stories told by elders of the “old days”. He was known for his big bear hugs and a two fingered wave when he passed you on the road.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Thursday November 5th from 2-5 PM at the family residence. In lieu of flowers donations can be made at www.gofundme.com/f/casie-allen-memorial-fundraiser .
