Obituary for Jimmie L. Andersen
Jim Andersen, 92, of Big Timber passed away Sunday February 19, 2017 at the Pioneer Medical Center. The following was written by Jim….
“I am writing my own obituary, why burden someone else in trying to make me look good. If you know me, you can make your own decision.
Nancy and I had been married more than 40 years, we enjoyed a good marriage. She had 3 children and I had 2, all from previous marriages. If you know them, you can judge them for yourself, if you don’t know them, you don’t give a rats.
We decided to move to the nursing home, Nancy because she needed care and help. I agreed because the chores became too tiresome, I never realized how big a job it was until I became a “wife”.
I have placed an application to Heaven because they probably have better golf courses. Also, I prefer an angel caddy to a witch caddy. I have visions of birdying the 7th hole, as the ecstatic angel ignores the botched previous 6 holes. I enjoyed that forgiveness; I don’t want to dwell on my sins.
America has experienced a steady stature of loss since I was young. In spite of the downward trend, I am still proud to be an American rather than a Muslim male. I have heard that Muslim men are rewarded (?) with 40 virgins at death, how cruel if true, can you imagine the work entailed in training 40 virgins! I can only hope that Obama’s 40 virgins have some rebels.
Obituary means I have departed the scene, please no calls.”
Cremation has taken place and private services will be held at a later date.
